well...
so today is the kickoff to the best weekend of the year. i have been waiting far too long for this weekend to come. last year i didnt get to see the all star game at all! i was going to tape it, but because i failed to press the timer record button i missed out. last year at this time i was going down to fight my ticket, so i missed out. but this year will be much better. no hobags to weigh me down ha ha ha. i dont care too much about the soph and rookie game, so i dont mind missing the first half of that while im at work. but tomorrow if im not out of work by 5:45 im going to shoot someone. sunday im not going to get to see the game live, but will make sure to tape it correctly. i will be checking for updates all night on my phone. i will be in seattle for a show with my favorite stand up commedian. if you dont know you should know that none other than david cheppelle is going to be at the paramount theater and i will be there too. ahhh ha ha ha
in other news i have been playing a whole lot of NBA live as of late. i play at least one game a day, sometimes two, and those are full 48 min games. normally i dont play this much, but i have decided to play the game the way it was ment to be played. running plays, playing D, all of it. it has made the game even more entertaining. the only thing is i just cant loose. i have it on the hardest setting, but i still blow the doors off the other team. today i took out charlotte 145-102. yea it is nearly impossible to play great defense, but i try. the thing i hate is the limited plays you can run. most of them are your basic screen and roll or some sort of pick and pop. i want to run the plays the pros run, or in madden when you can make your own plays. plus they dont show you what the play is. sure the play is called "options," but how am i supposed to know what the players are going to do. also you have to be on a certain side of the floor to start the play, but they dont tell you that so while i am running around trying to figure you out how to start the play my big men are gettig 3 second calls.
wow that was way too much about video games... on to something that makes me sound like less of a looser... ah valentines day. it was pretty cool. i worked a little later that i would have liked, but i went and picked up ashley and we went to dinner in seattle at this really nice italian restaurant. after that we went down to angle lake and walked around for a bit. then we went back to her house and watched the patreiot of all movies. well the movie was on at least, ill leave the rest to your imagination. it was a nice night though. capped by the fact that the sonics traded vlade for chris wilcox. ha ha how stupid are the clippers? wilcox is going to be pretty dang good. im sure the sonics arent done trading yet. i have some inside sources telling me that the sonics are looking to make another move. the are really looking for a backup pointguard. especially in the direction of earl watson or jaric over in minny. when the nuggets were here last week my insider was talking to earl and he said "ill see you later." watson responded with, "maybe sooner than you think." "everyday?" "well see, but probably." the sonics also want marcus banks, but he just got traded so im not sure if minny will unload him yet. in the trade is probably going to be flip murray and hopefully they can get rid of fortson. on sunday fortson got up off the bench and just left the arena in the 3rd quarter. he has also pretty much refused to play. he has an arthritic toe, but that is a playable injury. the team is trying to say its worse than it sounds, but that is only because fans like danny so much, but if you look at his track record he has been force out of everwhere he has played. thats enough out of me though. but be on the lookout for one of those guys headed for seattle.
i also want to give a little shoutout to everyone that reads this. i recently found out a lot more people read this that i thought. most of them dont even have accounts, but they come here to see how im doing. so big ups and thank you to those people and feel free to show me some love every once in a while.
