double post. ohhyeahhh.
in keeping with the updating, i decided to do a whole other post on my loverly long thanksgiving day weekend. which went from having no place to go, to having two dinners and one lunch. =) mmmm. sam get fat.

thursday after i got off my last class i was SO relieved to be done school for the weekend. drove home after getting free parking =) SCORE. i was in a total can't stay home, gotta do something mood. i ended up asking nathan if he wanted to hang out since i never see him anymore. =S and he's giving me flack for it and not updating my lj.

anyhow i finally got to see his place downstairs below where jenni used to live on ross st. he's living with grame now which is really cool. =) he's back from asia and i only got to meet him right before he left. he's fun =) i really like everyone that's living in that house now. =) so it was basically me, grame, nathan and his friend crystal who he invited over who is also [ive decided] is rediculously cool. =) we watched survivor since nathan's addicted to it, got really gross [in a good way] mcdonalds food and i got a slurpee. =9 yurm. and it was really really really fun. it was nice to hang out with them, which i rarely do unfortunately. i then remembered something about amanda owning ddr mats and the game which made me giddy with asian excitement. so i made everyone play. hahahaha. which was kinda bad cause amanda had a homework to do. =S it WAS FUN. i totally didnt know there was a ddr song for the b52's rock lobster. omg. TOO FUN. haha. =) i also still have the image of grame on his ass playing ddr on the extreme level with his hands and feet, and after 10 seconds flailing like he's having a seisure. hahaha. can you say video for youtube?! thanks for inviting me over to play =)
friday i had to work all day. and then was supposed to go shopping with aimee but she got sick. =( so i ended up picking up jamie so he could pick up his jetta at my place and put his new licence on and everything. yup. that's right, my man now drives a jetta. *swoon* after making sure the car was all good and filled up with all kinds of car fluids we went for dinner at white spot. i ate so much i was like a cat with no legs. we were also toying with the idea of seeing "we are scientists" at commodore that night since flora really wanted to go but had noone to go with. after an hour of hemming and hawwing we decided to go and i am -SO- glad we did. the opening band was art brut who are FANTASTIC and i am now in love with them. we are scientists were not bad. but art brut is better. =P we went back to my place and jamie slept over.
saturday we woke up late cause of jamie's sleeping patterns now that he's on night shift. we ended up getting wings at wingnuts for lunch since i was incessantly bothering him about it. we went with rob cause jamie was dropping him to get his car in exchange for the use of rob's costco card. jamie+costo=*sad sigh* after costco jamie brought me to get gelato. mmm. <3 then george called to see if we wanted to go see jackass 2 which was playing at the theatre right down the street from him. we called joe who wanted to join us and aimee but she she was too sick and didnt want to. jamie came over and helped me move furniture around to make my bedroom more comfy. then we picked up joe then went for uncle fattih's pizza. but there was no more potato pizza and that pissed me off. =P at george's him and jamie impromptu decided to watch "the departed" instead of jackass since it was playing at rio. so we went to see that instead. pretty crazy movie. but good. afterwards jamie slept over again.
sunday morning i had work all that day so i had to kick jamie out early and go to work. which was poo. i really didnt feel like working. plus the creeping realization that i had done NO homework was suddenly very apparent. after work i picked up flowers for jamie's mom and went home to get ready for thanksgiving dinner at their house. the dinner was really good. TASTY TASTY food, jane really is an AMAZING cook. there were a couple of odd moments at dinner where i wasnt sure if i was being insulted or groomed for the future. ive decided to let it go and pretend it never happened. i ended up sleeping over at jamie's after helping him go through his older brother geoff's clothes to see if there was anything good.
monday morning i was rudely awoken by starbucks calling me to come into work at 8am. that SUCKED. especially since i was at jamies and really comfortable. but i couldnt say no cause i needed the time and a half of holiday pay. so i said goodbye to jamie and wished him a good drive up since i wasnt going to see him. after work i got home and got ready to go to my family lunch at earls. it was alright. my family kept asking a lot of questions about jamie and why havent they met him yet. =S after lunch it was 3 and my brother came to the house and bitched about how messy i am. argh. so i spend the rest of the day cleaning and organizing instead of studying. stupid poo head. then at 530 i left to pick up wine and the tofurkey for colleen and kazaar's dinner at their place. it was really chill and relaxed. we watched project runway and WOW. colleen and kazaar can cook. good food and i really do like tofurkey. mmm. and veggie gravy is tasty too. fullness all around.
i went home early to try in vain to do homework but ended up so being so exhausted i just took a shower and fell asleep in bed.
i must've gained 10000pounds in eating all weekend. dieting will now commence so i can look sexy in my halloween costume. which btw rocks so many fucking socks.
now its tuesday. im in school. and ive got another 2 hours to kill. =)
