my summer vacation. an update.
yes. i am finally updating.
after practically an entire season without a real update, i am back. =)
last i left off, i was moving to back to vancouver ... ive moved. although sadly at least 30% of my stuff is still in montreal awaiting for me to go pick it up. turns out that moving shows you just how much crap you have in your possession. five years in montreal gave me a LOT of crap.
my summer was absolutely AMAZING. it started badly with a nasty breakup with jamie and i, which drove me to be slutty mc slut-slut. after about a month of breakup b.s. between us, one drunken night he asked me back and now everything is just as it should be. i am beyond happy with jamie and although my trust isnt yet 100% there yet, we've had 4 months of bliss so far... and it doesn't show any signs of stopping. =)
other than that summer was comprised of going out... A LOT. went on 2 camping trips to squamish [ps-sex on gravel=owch. always bring a blanket], took a couple of trips up to whistler since jamie is now working up there most of the week, but drives back down here to visit me on weekends. <3 saw a couple of concerts. futureheads with scott was SO good. did a lot of drinking. was supposed to go raving at apex, but since it got cancelled i ended up at summerbreaks watching nathan spin, which was just as fun, and totally non-inebreiated fun too! no e for sam! although i did pop, once.
i also *trumpet noise* got my first tattoo! oooboy did it hurt.
although i will admit it was so worth the pain. the pic is really enlarged, its actually like 1/4th the size and located on my mid-back, right above my bra line. it came out pretty much perfect although itched like a sonofabitch. im now totally jonsing to get my lip pierced. all in all that was basically my summer in a nutshell/cliff's notes kinda sprawl.
i did also get a job. =) i ended up getting a job at the starbucks near my house and have been working there for almost six months now. it is actually not as bad as i expected it to be. most of the people im working with i totally adore. although 3 of them arent there anymore which pisses me off =P but i picked up everything quickly and am totally diggin' the free stuff every week. =) plus-pay raise soon. so definately hoping for that. this is really good for now, but i am still looking for a better paying job, but its good FOR NOW.
school is hard hard hard. i got admitted into simon fraser university. i took a easy english course over the summer just to get in the school. now i am in full time and taking business courses to try in vain to get into the business program. that's right i want to get a business degree. i jumped from theatre to business. can you say "fucked?" but i suppose this will all work out in the end. suffer now, reap the rewards later.
and well. that pretty much leads me to my present time. =)
