It's a joyous occasion, celebrating the union of two people together or going to get together someday / of them willingly let themselves be committed and tied to their partner.
[Do I wanna get married?]One of my cousins got married, and another one got engaged last week.
Last week was an extremely busy week for myself, as apart from office work, there's all these 'kenduri' works to do.
I basically spent my time dressed up for the ceremonies, cleaning plates/the floor, and of course, peeling and blender-ing onions / shallots / garlics (cause they're the easiest to do,lol). Can't cook, and won't decorate the house to avoid arguments with the eldest.
My fingers still smells of the three. Eww.
Still feeling tired, my body aches, sleep-deprived and hands are smelly.

Now, because this cousin who got engaged yesterday was of my age, you can kinda guess what happens after right? This of course, happens at every weddings or engagement ceremonies. So you know, I'm extremely used to be bombarded with these type of questions.
In summary:
Uncles / older cousins / Aunties to flawless moi: "Rawbabyoctopus, now that yer cousin's engaged, we need to know when's your turn?" Rawbabyoctopus to aunty / uncle / whatevs cousins your'e not married/engaged either ( thinking : urgh I knew this bound to be heard some time today) : smiles "When the time comes, it will." smile some more
