Finished!
I just finished the first draft for my comic script. Took a mite longer than I thought, but given the in-process revising that I did, and given that it was the first one I ever attempted, I'm quite bloody pleased. It weighs in at 44 typewritten script pages, 13,773 words, which would translate into 27 illustrated pages of the actual published comic.
Further revising needs to be done, and I want to give Claire first look at it to make sure that I'm not spewing literary diarrhea all over the page before I share it. But after that I will make it available for download to anyone who is on my Friends page for critiques, criticism, and general whipping-into-shape.
Though I went through some doldrums with this one, I'm actually VERY pleased with how it turned out in the end, and I fully intend to pursue publication for what will hopefully become a four-issue miniseries.
