Questions that Glowbelly gave me

1. i know how you feel about our fren eric. if you had the chance to do one thing for him that would change his life forever, what would it be?

after thinking and talking to glowbelly a bit, i think that if i ever came into a huge amount of money that i could spend on stuff that i didn't need, i'd buy eric as much equipment for a recording studio as i could.

2. when you hit a block and can't think of anything to create with your art, who or what do you turn to for inspiration?

i tend to keep my schedule pretty full, so it's pretty hard to do this, but i normally take a walk if i really feel the need to draw, but can't create anything i'm satisfied with. i normally either see something that just touches me the right way or the walk just clears me head enough to finally think. Normally when i'm not creating something that i'm happy with, i'm either not actually in the mood to draw, or i'm not understanding something that's affecting me in a way i don't realize yet. taking walks are a harder thing to do over here at eric's, because i have to drive somewhere to take a walk, but it's really worth it if i need to draw badly.

3. you seem to me to be the strong silent type of female. do you ever have the urge to scream and yell out what you are thinking or do you feel that your emotions are more easily conveyed through your actions?

Most cases, people get the idea of what i mean by what i do, but when i have some large burden on me, like knowing something about a friend that i can't talk about, everything gets compressed inside of me, and i can't seem to do anything. Normally, when i get the urge to scream, it's because i've been pushing myself way too hard, and i need a huge, and very loud, release.

4. which of the senses do you feel is strongest in you or effect you the greatest? smell, taste, touch, sight, or sound?

i definetly can't choose only one. that i can tell you right off the bat. i learn the best when i'm fiddling with something like a pen or something like that in my hand. i'm most attracted to something that's really colorful, or just strikingly different in color or contrast to its surroundings. taste and smell are most linked with my memory; they're so interconnected that i can't easily find a difference in how it affects me. if i tasted or smelled something when i was 5, and didn't taste/smell it again until recently, i'd most likely be able to tell you what it is, where i last ate or smelled it, and what was happening, including exact sounds and pictures replaying in my mind. sound, which i think is most important to me, relaxes me better and connects me to my emotions at the time better than anything. if i'm having a bad day, the last thing i want to hear is bassline blasting. i need classical or traditional japanese music.

5. what is the one thing that you secretly enjoy...the thing that people would be most surprised to learn that you like?

i'm normally pretty open about things like this, so i don't know what really to say to this. uhm.... i'll update this if i can think of anything, but i'm really pretty open about most if not everything. :
