Bar hopping...
"She's got the photos, but no recollection/ He's got the motive, but no transportation..."
So last night I went out with Justin, Andrea, Margot, and Veronica and lots of J's friends for J's 21st birthday. It was the first time I had ever gone bar-hopping, and it was totally different than how I thought it would be.
The first stop was The Aquarium. It had a line out the door at first, and was rockin' like a club with some awesome dance music...except no one was dancing, haha. It was really packed, damn 4th of July weekend. J got his free shot and shirt, and some of the girls got a shot, and then we went off to The Library.
The name says it all, this place had "books" lined up along the walls above the bar. This place was really packed too. We squeezed thru everyone and all had a Long Island Iced Tea.
Then we went to......um...I can't really remember. I know we went to Cheers, and I wanted to try one of their shots next time around (funds were limited); and the Ritz, where the bartender poured this bottle of liqour into J's mouth while he leaned back on the counter, and then threw a shot in...except most of it landed in his eye. Ouch, that sucked, but it was cool to watch, hehe. Went to the Dizzy Rooster also, which if I remember correctly, was the bar that was like a fucking oven! No window open, no fan...just heat! Oh, my god! I felt like I was going to die! It was humid enough outside! Needless to say, we weren't in that bar for very long.
We went to some other bar I can't remember the name of, and then to Friends...where V ordered herself and I the special before the last call was up...but that damn bartender spent the whole time talking with some guy and never got our drink. When we asked her about it, she said it was too late now...fucking bitch.
Afterwards, the group wanted to go to a club to dance...but J was so gone, he just wanted to lie down. So we decided to call it a night. It was lots of fun tho!
We should definitely do it again sometime. :O)
