9. A movie with the best soundtrack
Well, I guess it'd be cheap to say
either of the Fantasias, and I did already mention tNBC, so lets find something new. And it may not be the "best" but it will be highly enjoyable. And a straight up musical seems like cheating.
Imma gonna go with
Ratatouille. Michael Giacchino returned to work with director Brad Bird (the two previously teaming up as director/composer for The Incredibles) and composed a Frenchy-jazz soundtrack that I love. I love jazz, so that helps, but it fits the theme of the movie, more so when you consider the relation between jazz music and cooking itself.
"Cast of Cooks" is probably my favorite score, a very low, blues lounge feel. "Le Festin", the only vocal on the album, and while not my favorite (it feels very odd compared to the rest of the play list) it'll grow on you.
