Mike Rowe and Dirty Jobs

If any one is a Mike Rowe/Dirty Jobs fan on the Discovery Chanel and caught the episode the first week of Aug, then they had the pleasure of seeing a sight I am privileged to see every day-The Mackinac Bridge. As a Troll (I live under the bridge, as in south of it), I loved the way the episode was filmed, edited and then presented. They only briefly touched on the fact that Mike stayed on Mackinac Island while completing two days of training before he was allowed to harness up, work then film on the Mighty Mac. Tuesdays episode is about Mackinac Island and Mikes job of cleaning up after the largest working livery in the world. With over 600 horses, that's a lot of poo to shovel!! Last year I e-mailed the suggestion to the Discovery Chanel to have Mike become a pooper scooper on the Island, and though I was not contacted directly, I hope I had a hand in at least peeking their interest enough that they did contact the tourism bureau and arrange for several days of fun horse filled activities. Feeding horses, washing horses, and mucking out stables, all without the aid of any type of motorized vehicle. So if any one is interested at all in seeing where I spend my summers then please catch Tuesday's Discovery Channel episode of Dirty Jobs and think of me as I dodge the puddles and the poo in the road on my way to my shops.
