Pocketses
Okay, do you know the song Prism from Card Captor Sakura? One of the lines is 'Fushigi ga ippai POKETTO de DANSU shiteru.' Which means 'My pockets are full of dancing wonders.' Odd, I know, maybe it loses something in translations. Or I'm translating wrong. At any rate, as I came home from clinical today, it popped into my mind because of all the things a nurse has in his pockets at end of day. I had:
4x 10mL normal saline flush
3x 2x2 sterile gauze pad
17x little alcohol swabby packets
5x stripd bandanges
1x plastic tape
1x paper tape
In one pocket. Yeesh. If it makes you feel any better, I put them back in my pocket to use tomorrow. Thanks god they're all (except the tape) sterile-wrapped.
Am I delusional, or is this just a very odd thing to post? Ah, well.
