Chi- Town Update...
I am now living in Chicago. I'm sore as all hell from all of the work that went into moving all of my crap, even after I threw out a bunch of crap. Many, many, many, many thanks to those of you who were able to come out and lend a hand. Your help is very appreciated, and I don't know if I can ever really thank you enough. Living here is still kind of surreal.
The rest of this week is just going to be lazy recovery time, and I think that next week will be some sight seeing, touristy stuff, and meeting some more of the kids out here that D and Travis know. Tonight Travis and I will be going to Neo (a local club) for 80's night. His friend Kamar is the DJ there. Travis has also been charged with going go the airport and driving 80's synthpop star Paul Rob from the band Information Society to the club tonight for his guest DJ spot.
Getting used to the traffic, parking, and life here in such a big city will take some getting used to for sure. I am sure though that my current friends, and the new ones that I will end up making will help to make it a bit easier.
