New Image:"Inseparable"
I know Ive been a no-show here for QUITE a while now. My summer shows have been going *very* well, which means Ive had to figure out ways to squeeze more work hours out of every day. My most effective technique for this has been to stay strictly *OFF* of the computer! Other than e-mail, Ive been sticking to that, but I'm so pleased with this new piece, I had to show it off.
"Inseparable" is a 26"x48" handmade silk-paper collage with silver leaf. Its at the printers now to have limited edition giclee prints made. The prints will be aprox 20"x32" in size.
I'm currently working on three other very large collages, as well as half a dozen smaller ones, in preparation for my biggest yearly show (The Tanana State Fair). Along with the new originals I still have 34 giclee prints to frame up, as well as untold amounts of shrink wrapping, display rehab, RV cleaning/packing etc, etc to do in the next two weeks. This is my major piece for this show though, so getting it done has taken a HUGE weight off of my shoulders!
