Edited to take off: Ok, so the clip was already taken off, but keep your eyes on YouTube for it. It was the trap from the poster below.
It had one man, William Easton (who works in insurance, particularly healthcare), come into this trap from what seemed to already be another trap. He already knows "it's a game" as he says. It plays like Russian Roulette (not your typical Jigsaw trap since everyone isn't given a choice...straight up murder Jigsaw, tsk tsk). There were 6 people on the carousel, of which are "valued associates". In front of William each person will randomly stop and a gun is pointing to them. Billy the Puppet (Jigsaw? Hoffman? Doubt it's Hoffman) says it is up to him to chose who will live or die. There are 6 people and only 2 will survive.
The device in front of him is how he makes his choice. Before the gun can go off he must "make a sacrifice", which is putting his hands in the device (much like Seth's pendulum trap) and a big rod will pierce through them.

But I am not sure for how much longer.
I think he was chosen because he was one of the men who decided John Kramer's heath care coverage wouldn't cover the surgery he would need. Or pretty much anything after he found out about the cancer. There's no doubt in my mind that's how it's connected. Everyone is connected somehow.
I don't care for the poster too much though. It's definitely different from the previous 5, but it gives some depth to the movie, which I like. It's also of one of the traps, which I also like.
