Assistance in something that isn't cosplay

1. I'm trying to lose a little weight and tone up for Dragon*Con, but I don't have time to head to the gyms around town. Anyone have any good at-home work-outs that have been effective? I've pulled all my work-out DVDs and my Wii work-out games out of hiding. Time to get back into shape! I have a costume with a bare belly and I need my belly to not jiggle as much as it does now. lol. That and gain a little muscle. That'd be night. Can't I just magically have the body I did 5 years ago?

2. My husband said my cooking has become repetitive. Anyone have any tasty and simple chicken, pork and steak recipes? Something I can cook quickly with few ingredients, but is yummy and healthy and doesn't cost a lot to get. Throw it together with some veggies and it's good to go. Almost all my cookbooks have very involved recipes. I think it's time to get some new ones.
