Pros Rec: All These Years by Angelfish (NC-17)
This rec is for those who like the path to true love to be a rocky, angsty one. That's not my usual cuppa, but this long, often painful h/c story is very moving, and a Bodie/Doyle recs set wouldn't be complete without it.
I'm not one to say this often, but when I re-read this story, I skip the last two small sections. I prefer the ending to be at the emotional peak, without any later reality setting in. YMMV. (It's not that the actual ending is wrong, just...I'm looking for the happiest ending for these two.)
