On Tuesday the snow was all but gone except for where it had gotten piled up. My car thermometer said 54 degrees, people were wearing shorts (Michiganders).
Then comes Tuesday night and freezing rain. The reason there isn't more snow is because there is a layer of ice under all of it. Wednesday 6 AM schools are closed with less than a dusting. By 8 ( Read more... )

After a few years of not having enough snow to build a snow man for more than a week, I’m ready for the snow to stop. It’s wreaking havoc with my sinuses.
