Laughing Moon Corset

I tried out the Laughing Moon Dore corset. I have to say, I’m not that impressed. I don’t think it does as nice of a job as Past Patterns #213. This one had lumps, like it was going down over the hips, but it didn’t. It still cut off short. Not pleased about that.

Please excuse me for my ignorance of and inexperience with commercial corset patterns (the Big Three, Laughing Moon, Truly Victorian, Past Patterns, and others.)
I imagine they can be altered/adjusted...? Yes; no?

The colors and the fabrics of this corset make me drool! And I love the effect of the corset against the soft olive and the rich chocolate of the rest of your clothing.
I'd love to see you make up a whole outfit using these colors---the soft olive, the chocolate, and the chocolate and gold of the corset---throughout. Although it would be a shame to hide that lovely foundation garment (which you're using here as a fashion garment, yes?), what's coming to mind doesn't include the corset as outerwear, but something---a gown, I expect---glamorous and sumptuous and perhaps a bit decadent (those gold accents remind me of the richest chocolate truffles dusted with actual gold!)
I could see "Natural Form" era, or something from the First Bustle period with a modest bustle or bustle effect.

*wriggles with pleasure, imagining such a dress* Just love the colors and the corset!

It can be altered, but I think the amount of altering would be more with the Laughing moon one than with the past patterns one, simply by the shaping at the "hips".
