Poetry sale to Strange Horizons + Halloween pix (before Thanksgiving even)

Yesterday I learned from Mark Rudolph that Strange Horizons has accepted my poem "The Invisible Woman Runs for President." Yay! Apparently my "strategy" of not writing much has been working, as the couple of poems I have written since editing Sporty Spec have found homes with the top markets on my list.

Oooh, I'm already intrigued by the title! Please post a link when your poem's published.

"Bosch in Hollywood" seemed to fit with the photos you included with your blog. *grins*

Congratulations on the new Strange Horizons sale! Very impressive. Thanks for the links to the previous ones--I enjoyed them a lot, particularly "The Glass Blower," which called up memories from the last trip to the Corning Glass Museum. I am still hoping to break into SH myself one day. I look forward to your new poem!
