It's an important day today!
It's the birthday of John Wayne Gacy! Happy birthday, John, and I hope you roast in hell for a zillion eternities!
A guy I knew my freshman year of college was from the Chicagoland area, and had actually worked for Gacy. He took the news of Gacy's activities very hard, asking repeatedly "Why was I spared when (guys he knew) were being sent to the crawl space?" I couldn't answer his question.
Me, I'd have been fairly safe. I'm much too distrustful to let anybody handcuff me (even for a "magic trick,") and Gacy only liked handsome young guys.
Of course, it's also St. Patrick's Day. St. Patrick is said to have driven the snakes out of Ireland. Apparently he was the first Gryffindor. And if he were around today, I'd beg him to drive the corruptionists, fools, clowns and madmen out of our government.
