I swore to myself I wasn't going to go to any conventions during my first year of college. Self, I said, you are going to need time to settle in. You cannot handle gallavanting off to cons to which you cannot only not drive, having no driver's license, but also cannot pay for, having a college student's budget. I'd like to go to another con too. And it's just midsouth, it's not a big budget spender. I'll drive! And we should be settled in by second semester anyways.

Mom's said that for Terry Pratchett, even she might be talked into going to another con. It'll depend on her headspace at the time, but, liek, srsly... TERRY FREAKIN PRATCHETT. And you totally don't know/care who he is, but DUDE. There are no words. Mom fangirls him almost as much as I do. XD
