I hereby eat my words, and gladly: Small towns aren't totally useless as far as movies go. Totally out of the blue, Brokeback Mountain opened at the Cinemark in Tupelo earlier tonight. DAMN. I don't remember it being this depressing when it was on.

Seriously? I mean, they always managed to make you laugh through it with the appallingly quirky humour (XD) but those guys were always so screwed, right the way through!

Brokeback showings have spread dramatically over the last month - it's even showing in Montana and Idaho now, but still not in Wyoming the last I checked XD. I wonder if these places had always planned to show it late, or if the great reviews and talk of Oscars have made them change their mind about it?

Yeah, all the crew were pretty screwed, but that's one of the fun things about watching it.
