1. Being with my family.
2. The moment when I get home from the bookstore, open up the bag, and crack the first cover; even though I bought the books myself, it still feels like Christmas.
3. Warm, enclosed spaces on cold, dim days.
4. Untouched snow.
5. Watching that one episode of a TV show after which you know you will never be able to stop; feeling the transformation from curious to fan. Trigun=Diablo. Farscape=Cracker's Don't Matter. X-Files=Ice. Cowboy Bebop=Ballad of Fallen Angels. FMA=Night of the Chimera's Cry. And so on. After that point of no return, the anticipation of more becomes a joy in itself.
6. Thunder.
7. When a piece of music matches the moment so indescribably that your chest tightens.
8. Friends with whom I can banter constantly with no need to measure my words.
9. Finishing something and knowing I did it right.
10. Writing without restriction.
