hellsing in a pinch

Wasn't planning on doing anything particularly Halloween-y, but I had a last-minute change of heart (plus I wanted sugar), so I begged and cajoled Mom into getting a few bags of candy and joining me for our now-becoming-infamous tag-team routine. (Mom sits on the porch with my raven handpuppet, sweet-talking the kids into going over and knocking on the front door, where I scare the shit out of them with whatever costume I'm in. Last year was the best, because we had me as the Crow and owlmaid as Lizzie Bourdon threatening people with an axe. It's great. We get a few good screamers every year.)

So this year, I didn't have anything scary (just Sabriel and Vash) and I didn't want to do the Crow again because I'd done it for two years (and the makeup takes forever, and the electrical tape is murder, and many other laziness-related reasons). Thus, two-minute costuming and fandom-of-the-moment to the rescue.

One of Dad's dark suits + combat boots + red silk scarf + Vash coat (open, Velcro and buttons turned under as much as possible) + orange-tinted Vash sunglasses + white button-up shirt + long black wig + a drop of fake blood for flavor = instant Alucard. No hat, no gloves, no guns. Other than that, a passable job if I do say so myself.

Happy Halloween!
