Someone (cough*SteelersBoy*cough) once told me that my favorite TV show wasn't
Inside the Actors Studio. Clearly he didn't read
this post! I do think that a person's favorite television shows tell you something about them. I'm not sure what my list of shows will tell you, but hopefully you're not disappointed in me for my choices! In no particular order:
- Inside the Actors Studio. I love acting and learning about what goes into famous actors preparactors preparation for their roles.
- The Colbert Report. I <3 Stephen Colbert. That is all there is to say.
- The Daily Show. What's not to like about Jon Stewart? I <3 him too, but not as much as Stephen Colbert.
- Pushing Daisies. This show is pure genius. It's futuristic and Alice in Wonderland. If you don't like this show, we can't be friends. Even virtual friends.
- Chuck. I love this show, because I believe it. This totally geeky guy falls for this drop-dead gorgeous girl, and they're pretending to date to get other stuff done. Chuck's lines, especially his geeky ones, show that the writers know geeks.
- The Office. Oh man. This show is amusing, ridiculous, and believable. Michael Scott is...wow. Unreal. And btw, I loved The (British) Office, too.
- Mad Men. I never do this show justice when I try to describe it. I think it's my favorite show this season, and actually might overtake Inside the Actors Studio.
- Project Runway. The clothes, the models, the runway. Amazing!
- Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew. I love dance. Always have, always will.
- Step it Up and Dance. Again, I love dance. But this is different than RJPABDC. It's classic and modern, but beautiful.
- House. Surely by now you've figured out that I like sarcastic egotistical men.
- Grey's Anatomy. Yeah yeah yeah. I'm a typical woman who goes ga-ga over McDreamy and McSteamy and whatever other Mc-character they bring along. But, Grey's is on its last legs with me. I might have to take it off the list. I'll decide in 2 more episodes. I'm sure the writers/actors are shacking in their boots.
- Private Practice. I know you saw that coming! But, this show is also halfway out the door. I'm just not sure that it's worth an hour of my time to watch it every week. But I really like Kate Walsh. And I loved Amy Brenneman in Judging Amy, so this show is a natural fit.
