Worn Out of Love
I had to throw out my favorite (okay only) red bra and one of my favorite pairs of heels. They were both a few years old and had seen better days. I'd held onto both of them longer than necessary, mainly because they were my favorites. I wore those shoes so much the heel was literally worn off. One leg was just a tad shorter than the other when I was in them. And my bra...my bra did a horrible job of lifting, separating, and supporting. No matter how many times I readjusted the straps, they were still too big. About 2 hours into my work day yesterday I wanted to take it off because it was so uncomfortable. But, it would have been really noticeable, so I sucked it up and continued my day.
Good-bye beautiful shoes. You were one of my first pair of black heels that I truly loved. Good-bye red bra. You were a fun "Very Sexy" bra while you lasted. Hopefully neither of you took my abuse personally, and realized I wore you all the time because I loved you. But, I will be looking for your replacements soon.
