I Like Our New Landlord Already
In May, while I was traveling to Indiana, we received notification that we had a new landlord. It hasn't even been a full month since he took over, but I like him already.
These might seem like small things, but the apartment complex seems to be on the up-swing. It also helps that he didn't increase rent. :-)
- Both dryers are operational. They take quarters and the breaker doesn't trip halfway through the cycle.
- Apartments 1 and 9 have been evicted. While I didn't necessarily want them evicted, I did want them to stop playing their music at 2:00 in the morning, stop smoking in the hallway, stop having karaoke nights because they actually can't sing, and stop sitting in their car showing off their system.
- Working locks have been placed on the side and back doors.
- Lightbulbs that have burned out have been replaced with working ones.
