Sympathy Pain

My left ankle is hurting now. It's actually pretty normal for one leg to start acting up once it realizes that the other one is, too. I wore tennis shoes to work today. I hoped that my feet would appreciate the break from heels. I guess I'll have to start icing my legs and take Ibuprofen until I figure out what's triggering this. With my luck my knees will start hurting tomorrow. Won't that be grand?

SteelersBoy made me a playlist today. I love listening to the library he's made available to me. My current favorite song on there is Let Me Love You by Mario. I'm in a whole different world when I listen to that song. There's a few other ones that I listen to daily, including Forever and Ignition by R. Kelly. It's funny how I associate songs with people, especially boys. I gave SteelersBoy a rundown of songs he had to listen to in my library, but the songs I have on my work PC aren't a good sampling of my favorite music. It's just music I've acquired via AIM or that I brought in to share via AIM. One of these days I need to bring in my good music.

I started looking into skydiving this weekend, and it's a tad more expensive than I anticipated. I still want to go, but the first 3 guys I asked to go with me all turned me down. Well, they'd go to the place, but they wouldn't actually go up in the air with me. I talked to PilotBoy last night, who pointed out that it might be a tad cold up there. Then he rattled off some random fact about how the temperature changes every "x" feet. Maybe it was inches...meters...I dunno. Whatever he said sounded cold. :-) Since it's probably unwise of me to spend money on it now, and I trust PilotBoy's judgement about the cold (he is a pilot and all), I'm going to wait until the springtime. By that time I might be able to convince people to go up with me. Maybe even PilotBoy! :-)

Since I'm not going skydiving as a big birthday thing, I need to find something else to do. I went to Wolf Creek with friends last year. I love wine, but I want to do something bigger. Plus, Wolf Creek closes at 9:00 during the week, and I want to stay out late. It is the day before Thanksgiving after all. I am bummed that Mary won't be here for it, though. It's not going to be the same. :-(

Oh, and remember how Mike and I cancelled our dinner? Well I managed to get on his calendar this month. This month! I'm quite excited. Perhaps I can convince him to take me to Bricco. Or Crave. :-) He did say he wants to drop by my parents house and talk to my mom. I need to remember to tell her that. It'd probably be weird if we just randomly showed up.

Sorry this is a blah post. I'm avoiding my homework, but I don't have any exciting thoughts running through my head. I skipped out on the gym today. Curling up on the couch and watching TV or reading a book sounds much more exciting.

UPDATE: I just saw my first college basketball article! I'm so excited!
