So, you don't think I'm always flirting with you, do you?

Highlights of the week include talking with a boy for almost an hour Monday and Tuesday, flirting with FlirtBoy at work, finishing all my assignments at work, hanging out with Mary at Ken Stewart's while talking to a guy we just met, and getting a case of Yuengling from Dustin.

I met a boy Saturday evening at a mutual friend's party. We talked most of the party and he ended up asking for my number. Honestly, I assumed he was interested because he talked to us exclusively all evening, but he could've just been bored. I didn't plan on asking him for his number, so I'm glad he had the guts to do it. :-) He called me Monday while I was at work, and I returned the call on my drive to Kohl's. We ended up talking for almost an hour...and I'm not really sure what we talked about. We arranged to get together on Thursday, and he called back yesterday. I still have no idea what we talked about, but I do know that we're hanging out Saturday, too. When I told my old boss about him he asked, "Is he a cowboy that drives a truck and wants 5 children?" :-)

I'm starting to get in a groove at work. My lead worked from home yesterday, but I still felt like I had things to work on and had an understanding of what I was supposed to do. I finished all my assignments, which I think is pretty good considering I really don't know what I'm doing. I'm moving to a new building Friday which will be interesting. It'll help me get to know more of the people in my department, since I'm currently sitting up front with the Project Managers. But, I'm interacting with my coworkers more, which is good. Evidently I'm the subject of speculation at work. I admit I'm a flirt and I happen to work with someone who can flirt with the best of them. Evidently multiple people have asked him about the two of us, which I think is strange because I've only worked there for 8 days. But whatever. I'm just amused that I'm the subject of rumors.

I decided it was time to break out the fuck-me shoes, so yesterday I dressed in a v-neck black shirt, tight jeans, and my red shoes. It was great. They sparked a conversation with the guys something along the lines of, "Why do girls wear such painful shoes?" But then FlirtBoy said, "Wouldn't it be cool if girls wore them while playing sports?" Then he got the gleam in his eye and I said, "That's why girls wear heals." Later when I did a dumb-blonde thing he said, "It's a good thing you're pretty." I replied, "Oh yeah, why? Cause I can get away with stuff like that?" "Yeah."
