It's not too late for love

This week/weekend was decently eventful. I got to hang out with Willy, Malia, Mary, and Vinnie a lot, which was fantastic. I got my hair cut Saturday, which was quite traumatic. Well, the hair cut itself wasn't traumatic; I was just super nervous. I've been going to the same hairdresser for about 8 years now, and I can go in there and say, "I need something new," and I get something new. So, I was really nervous since I had no idea what I wanted to get done, and I was going to a new hair dresser. The guy had an ego like no one else, but he knew what he was doing. I love the new hair cut. It's not dramatically different than my last cuts, but it's definitely different. Right after he showed me what it looked like, I put it up in a ponytail to make sure that I wouldn't have problems when I went to the gym. He might've been a tad insulted. Ooops!

Speaking of the gym, I've decided to get up in the morning and work out instead of trying to figure out when/if I can squeeze it in at night. I managed to do it Thursday and Friday, but when the alarm went off this morning, there was no way it was happening. I needed that extra 20 minutes of sleep. So, I guess I'll just try to get back into the habit of going to the gym. I didn't go this weekend, so I hafta go today if I have any chance of this working out.

The Youth Group performed Living Stations on Friday. They were very powerful, although I'm not sure if I found the music moving or the stations themselves moving. Music ministry was on fire Friday night, and some of the songs they sang were the best they've ever done.

I know I have a few meetings today, but other than that I'm not sure what my work schedule looks like. We're off Friday, which is fantastic. I promised my old boss I'd do some training this week. I know I have to do it for the new girl that's replacing me, but coming up with time and examples is kinda difficult. Also, I can't give the one presentation that's pretty essential to survival. I just don't know the info well enough to try to train on it. Ah well. Hopefully she survives....seeing as she's the new me.
