Feeling un-motivated. meh.

The first winter farmers' market (yesterday) was great. A cold day, but not snowing, so there was a great turnout. Good press coverage, too.

Also this weekend: Started designing the holiday cards, rather earlier than usual. Yay! I also started working on a local-food-order wiki, to provide some online information about ( Read more... )

You sing in a choir! That's so cool! I used to, too.

Mezzo. I usually sing alto parts but can pinch-hit in the soprano range up to high A (on a good day, G on an average day)).

I've been forced to buy veggies at the grocery since our farmers market closed for the season and it sucks. Sad beets, nameless carrots, and a distinct lack of crazy people telling you what to do with an upo... How do they expect me to shop like that?

bleah!! I can't remember the last time I bought vegetables at the grocery store. Between the winter markets and the local food order I coordinate, we'll have opportunity for local produce (yeah, mostly storage veggies, but there were lots of greens at the Dec. market) twice a month through the whole winter. It surprises me that you guys, with your much more temperate climate and similar interest level in local food, don't have a year-round market opportunity...

Cider House is THIS Friday?

This changes a bunch of my plans...

Fear not, it is also NEXT Friday. Trinity (lead: John Cronin) is this Friday, Longford Row (lead: Michael Cronin) is next Friday. We are likely to be at both. We may skip out early from this Friday's show, because of the early morning craft-show-setup on Saturday.
