a quickie...
...update. Sickos.
Life is still barrelling along at 500 miles an hour. No frost yet, so still in garden madness along with all other fall activities. Tom's parents visiting this weekend from Ohio, should be fun (and is an excuse to not work on the house for once). This week's project has been installing the new side door that Tom made last spring. Soon, I must figure out how to post pictures in this thing, because you all must see this door, it's lovely! (And it will be even lovlier once we paint the part of the house immediately surrounding said door, which is currently in an advanced state of paint-peeling.)
My choir director got to workshop for 3 days with Ysaye Marie Barnwell of Sweet Honey in the Rock over the summer. Things are different now, oh yes they are, and in the best possible way.
Mimerki, I have not forgotten my responsibilities, and in fact I am mortified that it's taking me so long. Soon, I promise. I wasn't expecting life and work to explode like this (which is probably why it happened).
