Well, that's good news.

Since I assume breaky shows up in FAH (since I use that word) it's pronounced brekkee and ... uhm, a quick google shows it more in Australia than in the US though that might be my search terms more than anything else...

I've breen reading "brekkie" in books for ...um... well, likely since teen years? Always though it was a colonial Britishism, but was not particularly clueful about details of that kind of thing ... um, still am not.
