Stupid Ice
Last week was the "white death" that killed all in its path and starting late last night was supposed to be the encore performance of the "white death" in d minor. Actually it just snowed for an hour... but then at about 6 this morning (when I woke up and had consciousness) it was raining... ok, rain. I went out to my car and tried to open the door and... it was sealed shut with ice. Ok, we'll remove it no big deal.
So I get to work and park on the street (I too poor to pay for parking). Walk in to work, a little slippery out, but its raining pretty hard so I figured it'll melt away most ice and snow related things.
After a day of work I leave to go to my car with my friend Kate, we're either ankle deep in freezing water or slipping and sliding on ice. Get to my car, pretty well covered in ice. I drive home and I notice along the way that everything is COVERED IN ICE. It looked really really pretty but then I got to thinking, if its icing up this badly now, its only going to get worse over the night. Especially since its 8 right now and hasn't stopped raining yet.
So I rename this... the "glass death". Thank you and have a nice night.
