The roman empire coronation cloak
With the lions and the camels and the tree of life? I would like use it as a basis for a cloak I would like to make. Does anyone know of any sources that have close up pictures of the embellishment? I have read the descriptions, but would really like to see the detail work myself to determine what is couched and what is split stitch and which areas have the colored embroidery in addition to the gold. Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks.
