Joke of the day:
Q: Why did the seventeen-year-old give his parents a locket with his picture in it?
A: To show that he was "in-de-pendant."
*sorry* I realize that Voldemort was the only one actually "in-de-pendant," but Regulus was messing around inside of one also. I'm sure you can tell from the title that I am back to obsessing about the super-locket from the HBP movie.
Finally we have some clarity on this most pressing matter of international import. {/sarcasm} I had written two posts about this before ~
See both posts here ~ and because the Noble Company had called this necklace the "Horcrux" locket, and advertised it with replicas of the ring and the book, it wasn't clear whether this was supposed to be passed off as Slytherin's actual locket, which should have the big Green "S" on it.
But
a page from the Noble catalog courtesy of
Snitchseeker now calls it the "Locket From the Cave," and is displaying the unfolded note from Regulus Black that fits inside it. So, whew!, now we know this is the faux locket from the House of Black's storehouse of heirloom plastic crap from magical 1960's-era Slytherin cereal boxes.
Great advertising work, Noble and WB! It took several months and and alot of fans asking questions before this was explained.
