Rush Limbaugh has posted what he calls an "apology" on his website for his vile, callous, and uncivilized remarks about Sandra Fluke, Georgetown University Law Student who testified to Congress about a friend's problems getting insurance for contraceptives for a hormonal problem. Read more in

It's come out that Bain company owns his talk show and Sean Hannity's as well, and of course, Bain has connections with Romney. That explains why a misogynist drug addict, who goes to the Dominican Republic with Viagra for God knows what reason is still in the air and not in jail, where he belongs.
I sincerely hope this is the beginning of his downfall. I know that Ms. Fluke and her family handled her savaging with grace and dignity. I think, if it were my father, Rush Limbaugh would be missing a few teeth and my father would be awaiting arraignment.
I'm not wishing ill on the pig, but if he goes the way of Andrew Breitbart, I won't pretend to be sad.
Oh, and for anyone who is still confused about the meaning of misogyny: this is it.

It's clear that Ditto-Heads, whether they call themselves Republicans or Independents or Libertarians, want corporations to have human rights, but not women. I totally get it now.
But the main thing Rush forgot is that many men also like women, and want their mothers/daughters/wives/sisters to have the same freedoms they have. These Voldemort-like misogynists do not understand most men anymore than they understand women.
I feel ashamed of myself for not paying enough attention. I have always dismissed Limbaugh as a big bag of wind, and his listeners as the lunatic fringe - a bunch of old men and truck drivers with nothing better to do than listen to him. And because I live in a Red State where people go to church constantly just for show but turn around and do whatever they want the rest of the week, I also give Republicans too much credit apparently for not being as conservative as they pretend to be. That's a dangerous view and I've learned my lesson.
I am completely incensed by these old white men trying to assault women's rights as if they don't have any value for their mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters. Romney doesn't have a daughter, but he has a loyal wife, so I thought the only reason he wasn't speaking out was his Mormon patriarchal beliefs. Then I found out that Bain owns Clear Channel! OMG. He's as guilty as the rest of them, and now we know where Rush's astronomical salary comes from - probably some bank account in the Cayman Islands.
