This'll actually be my first vote. :D....and I don't get half the propsitions we're supposed to vote for. BAH.
I agree that McCain should be happy that Anne Coulter is for Hillary. That woman...well, let's just say that one of my friends decided that she was a great subject for a scary Halloween costume. XD
McCain does sound like the best of the Reps, but I'm still either going with Obama or Hillary. Obama more likely, after the Anne Coulter news.
I'm ok with DH being two movies. If it were one movie, guess who they'd cut? Obviously not the snogging and endless battle scenes. No, they'd cut Xenophilius, Albus' backstory, Neville-the-hero and that greasy guy no one likes.
Interesting to know that JKR did consciously use WWII as inspiration. :D
Congrats on being able to vote this time!!! Not trying to influence you with my icon or anything!

My daughter is 20 and this is her first Presidential campaign. She has been torn between Hillary and Obama, and I've been told to stay out of her business, haha. She has been toying with the idea of voting for McCain because she is afraid of Huckabee and Romney, but I think it's more fun to go into our very conservative precinct and say quite loudly "A Democrat Ballot, Please!" Then everyone in the place will turn around and stare at the freaks, lol. (Yes, I cause trouble, even in the real world.) '
But actually, I think more people where I live will vote Democrat this time - but then, I tell myself that every time. Wishful thinking.
Freggy: Good point about them cutting out all the good scenes in DH! Yes, it would just be giants stomping around and Death Eaters turning to sand again, and no Tale of the Prince.
My daughter just called and she is coming out to my house this afternoon instead of tonight, so we'll be voting within the hour!!! My hubby will just have to go by himself tonight.
Also, I just realized when my son came home from school that even though he can't vote today, he will turn 18 in April and will be able to vote in the November election! Yay! I was just telling him he needs to read up on the candidates before then. He's never been that interested in politics, but hopefully he will be by November.

Mit Romney...I'm just not paying much attention to him, save laughing at his stupid "Who let the dogs out?" blunder.
