(Now please don't ask me why Scorpio only gets a few days? I have no idea!!!)
Harry Potter, born on July 31st, has become a Cancer like me, which is funny. All that Gryffindor Lion imagery has turned Crabby (which might explain alot about JKR who shares Harry's birthday, actually). This make me wonder whether Crabbe's sign has changed? He's the one who died in a fire, not Harry, and Harry was always associated with water imagery in the books, so this somehow feels exactly right.
I'm rather amused by the "new" Zodiac Sign called Ophiucus has been around in the heavens for a millenia it would seem, but the ancient Babylonians didn't want a 13-sign Zodiac. And it stands to reason that the Slytherin Guy in the Sky would be overlooked by just about everybody.
Yet those who hate Slytherins will be surprised to know that this constellation is known as "The God of Wisdom" and associated with Aesclepius, the God of Medicine - with the Caduceus and all, as represented by the Constellation Serpens. It is also known as "The Peace Bringer." Of course, I'm sure someone will soon label it the "Zodiac Killer" or "Snake Handler" or "That No-Good Greasy Git." But hey, you know what? He's been around for centuries which just goes to show that Slytherins aren't going anywhere any time soon, LOL. Get over it!
And sadly, no ~ Snape is not in this sign, but he has changed from Capricorn to Sagittarius, the natural sign of Teachers represented by the Centaur.
More About Ophiucus The most recent interpretation is that the figure represents
the healer Asclepius, who learned the secrets
of keeping death at bay after observing one serpent
bringing another healing herbs.
To prevent the entire human race from becoming immortal
under Asclepius' care, Zeus killed him with a
bolt of lightning, but later placed his image
in the heavens to honor his good works.
