BSG RETURNS!
Are you excited? You're not? Well what the hell is wrong with you? Battlestar Galactica is on tonight! FINALLY! It seems like forever since we last left the colonial fleet, stomping around a decimated Earth. I'm excited, but kind of sad, since we're nearing the end. But man am I pumped, I even watched the webisodes, which were actually good.
But not only does BSG come back, but so does Friday Night Lights! I know technically it's been airing on Direct-TV, but I don't get that, and I want to actually watch it on NBC. So yay! Excellent night, indeed.
Finally, Stargate Atlantis wrapped up a few weeks ago, and I'm kind of pissed. The last several episodes were pretty good, and one was frickin' amazing, like my favorite episode of the show.
Stargate Atlantis 5.19
Otherwise known as "Vegas". I have to say, this episode could have served as a pilot for one hell of a TV show. I LOVED how different it was from anything SGA had done before. It was like CSI: Atlantis. I loved the way we saw the organs die from the Wraith CSI or House style. I loved the music, the writing, the plot. The whole thing was just an experience. It wouldn't have hurt the show to incorporate a few of those real world touches into the regular show. Some funny musical cues or montages would have been a nice addition to the chase scenes or action sequences on the show.
The Office 5.11
Disappointing. That's the first thing I felt after watching last night's Dwight/Andy/Angela dramafest. Normally it's Michael who drags down the show, but this time Dwight played a hand, too. See, I normally let Dwight go with some normal weird things, but his weird Schrute song just left me sad and wishing for Gareth. Michael played his part in being unrealistic and childish. Take the speed detector. It left me just shaking my head in disappointment. What a stupid, childish thing that NO OFFICE would ever do. Then there was the duel, which was alright. The best part is that Angela is a slut.
Yup! Oh Angela, I love you even more. Lying to BOTH men? Why did you have to marry Andy again? I forgot... Aren't you in love with Dwight or something. Wouldn't having Andy find out be good so you can just be with your beet man? I don't get it.
