Oh God, I really don't want Livejournal to go under. For those who don't know,
LJ fired at minimum 1/5th of its staff. At most, as
Gawker said, 20 out of 28 employees. This isn't good, no matter how you spin it. Running a big website with less than 15 people? I can't imagine this working out. One of the great things about LJ is the community, which I'll really miss if the site goes under. The other concern is my posts, which I'll undoubtedly need to back up and set up on some other server. I guess I might need to migrate to either Vox or Blogspot if word comes down. I hope it doesn't happen, but I hope I can keep up with some of my LJ friends.
