Summer is closing and opening at the same time
My sister, Marian, is in town. It has been fun having her around we are putting my new apartment together and cooking and eating out. My mother gave us an enormous budget which enabled us to have a rather lavish sushi dinner last night. Needless today, when the waiter delivered my eel... he noted that, "Japanese style eel an aphrodisiac, be careful." My dreams were pretty intense last night, and I am still feeling the effects. After eating both Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine yesterday... I have a very strong desire to learn to make some of the light and fishy dishes that have graced my palate. Besides, I've heard that seaweed is very good for you, and I would like to incorporate more marine life into my cooking. As usual... it will take a long time for me to actually learn to prepare something edible, but maybe eventually a dinner party will be in order.
