Supernatural 6x03

I didn't like this week's Glee. (Or any Glee really, since the first few eps. I like the songs and I love Sue, but the show completely fucked with the potential it could have had in favor of cracky jokes and over-the-top unrealistic storylines.)

I did however finally LOVE Supernatural again. I think it's simple. ( Read more... )

Afraid we aren't on the same page with this ep.

But was nice to see Cas again.

Yes, I missed him. It's good that they didn't just drop the whole angel storyline. And I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't tie up in the end, like the angels are behind the creatures getting stronger.

I think they could have very well dropped the Apocolypse story line and this angel war. I don't mind Angels being apart of the show, but just Cas and not continuing with the Apocolypse storyline. It's been done to death now and we were promised back to basics...This is not back to basics and frankly I'm bored with the whole epic war between good and evil.

Yes entirely possible they might have something to do with the creatures getting stronger and acting differently. But if it's all about the Civil War and bringing on the Apocolypse. I'm going to be pissed.

I'd be pissed if it was just back to season 1 with no major arc going on, because even in season 1 it was slowly coming, with Sam being special.

However I'd have preferred just war in heaven, and like, the angels being pissed Cas has any say, since he's not even an archangel. But why would they still want the apocalypse? That's a bit dumb.

See I disagree. I think they could get back to like how it was within Season one, without it being about the Angel Civil war and Apocolypse. They're hinting at monsters of the week being different. The major arc could be about that, and what's causing it without Civil War in heaven and the Apocolypse.

In that way they get back to how it was in Season 1-2, without it being about the end of the world. But still keep it interesting with the MotW being ramped up and what that is all about.

Yes, true. Especially since, in a way, they're stealing Kripke's initially finished story idea. Ah well, we'll see. Whatever they do, I'll keep watching.

Oh yes, I'll keep watching even to the bitter end if it comes to it. I still love the boys (although want to slap Sam all the time at the moment), so will keep watching even if it doesn't make me so happy all the time like it used to.

Yes. I'm also barely rewatching the latest seasons. If I rewatch, it's season 2 or Mystery Spot and Changing Channels for the 20th time. LOL. But then, it's mostly a time problem.

I agree on Sam. But I guess there's a reason for it.

Yeah earlier seasons still have the best eps overall.

Yes you're not meant to like him, but I have to say just overall not enjoying how Jared is portraying it. Just feels phoned in.
