I have always liked to travel. I have never been one who was much for staying still or staying in one place. My father used to despair of it because there have been times where we have been at important functions or meetings and I just could not seem to stay still. I am happiest when I am moving. I am more at peace when I am exploring or discovering. I am a wayfarer at heart.
I have been told many a time that I have a seafarer's soul because I am always wanting to travel on a ship to see where the waves can take me and what I can discover.
If it were not for my love of travel and adventure, I am not sure if I would ever have met Will Turner. I was on a ship's journey when we came across his sunken ship and his younger form unconscious on a floating piece of wood.
Then, when I was kidnapped by the pirates and Will came after me... well, again, it was through travels over the sea that I realized that he felt the same way about me that I felt about him. He chased Barbossa and his crew across the waters and to that darkened cave to rescue me.
And now?
Now I look forward to the travels that Will and I are going to take together in this new adventure that our lives have seemed to become. I have cast my heart in with his and cannot wait to see where all of this leads us next.
