I can't believe that I finished my sketch of Jon Stewart. He'll kill me if I e-mail this to him, well he wouldn't know.
The stupid scanner made my artwork look brighter. I'm not that proud with what I done because I didn't know Jon tilted his head slightly. And the background colours were the worst, not only it ruined the feel, it didn't look very artistic. I've learnt from my mistakes: Don't use colouring pencils you clown!- Ok, I won't. As from now, I will take some time with drawing Jon Stewart. I won't use colours or shading pencils, I'll use a felt tip. Firstly, I'll use the pencil as an outline, then the felt tip will go over it!
The original picture:
Jon please don't hunt me down for ruining yer pic!
The suit looks designer. I'm rubbish at drawing men's suits. Especially when it comes to doing the suit's collar. Very difficult. I will probably do the picture again, but this time with proper arty stuff (no more getting the £1 colouring pencils from Poundland then).
Due to the hours which I wasted on drawing Jon. I didn't draw myself. Earlier I drew
this, I drew the cake first. The knife and fork were super sized. I was very proud with Jon's hands, they looked real.
In around how many hours time, I'm going to Kent with my dad to visit Shane. *sighs* I haven't done my homework. I want to do it now, but I have to sleep. Aargh.
