Ok after finally getting my bike back from the repair shop after my "slight mishap" all looking good again :3

Before i start riding it again, i'm fitting a few parts i bought last year, first is a pyramid fender extender, the standard Honda front mud guard is too short, so all the spray and debris gets thrown straight onto the radiator and exhausts, I'm wondering if there is a market for a longer front guard, as the cbf600 has the same issues.. but i digress,

Anyway its quite a good quality item, basically just a piece unpainted abs plastic, but looks factory when fitted really, you are supposed to fit it with the double sided tape supplied, then drill holes for four stainless steel screws, but i didn't like that idea, looked ugly imho plus drilling into a brand new mudguard wasn't on my list of things to do.

instead of that i used black "Tigerseal" (polyurethane sealant, they use similar stuff to affix body panels on a lot of modern cars, so its man enough for this job) needed to take of the mudgaurd and clamp it in place overnight till it cured but worked well, the extender isn't a 100% perfect fit, but  pretty close and it looks good enough (im fussy about stuff beign perfect lol) not had the bike out in the wet yet to see how much it helps but from reports ive read it will be a lot better.

Second part i've fitted, is the R+G shock tube, basically a neoprene tube which goes round the rear damper and spring, saving it from road dirt etc (i do have the Honda hugger fitted, but its a little too short really so doesnt stop all the spray) not much more to say really, it wasnt to bad to fit, just wraps round then atatches to itself via velcro, then there are two tiewraps you tighten at the top and bottom, looks quite good, might be awkward to adjust the rear suspension with it fitted though.

Last thing i fitted isn't really an accessory as its the topbox, but i only got it after i had my accident so the bike was away, i needed to fit the spare lock barrel to it so the keys matched, whi was a 5 min job, then had to drill two holse in it to fit the pillion backrest D: wasnt looking forward to that but it went ok, there are marks inside the box where to drill and the backrest fitted perfectly, looks quite good fitted imho, and well its useful

just waiting for the better weather now, or the rain to wash all that damn salt away (soon) for now its safely in the garage

other than that ive been repairing a Yamaha 125 i bought last year as a winter hack, but more on that next time..
