False Alarm. No New Cat.
Well, the visiting cat stayed until bedtime, at which, like all young cats, he decided it was time to PLAY !! So I put him outside for the night, not wanting to wake up to find the furniture shredded and steamers behind the TV.
No sign of El Gato this morning - but the girls from number 41 were doorknocking the neighbours today. It's their cat, named Elwood. He's nowhere to be found. I'll keep my eyes open, but a cat's a cat. He'll find his way home. or find another home, depending on his whim at the time.
