In 12 hours
We will be moving in to our new place, officially.
It's 2 blocks from the shore of Lake Michigan.
It's really close to my favorite cousin's place.
It's in a neighborhood with college students
that's what most of our building is. So... it should be safe.
And I felt safe walking around there at night with no street lights on.
My family and most favorite friends
have made me cry (or close to that)
with sentiment and such.
I'm going to miss people, but I plan to frequent the area.... or sort of anyway.
Finally.....I'm actually doing it.
I've planned this for a while... but finally.
It might not work out, but it's an adventure I need.
If you had my phone number, the 980 changed to 560 and otherwise it's the same.
I'm going to do and be what I want.
And I had deja vu for the first time in years tonight
it was an insignificant thing, but I don't think it is at all
I like to believe that deja vu means you're in sync with your life's pre-planned destination
or something like that...
I'm not looking forward to being further from those I care about, but i'm still excited.
So if you ever want to venture to Chicago, you should visit me!
I promise to be a good host, and our place has plenty of room for guests. :)
