fog and meanderings
I drove home through fog today. It was very pretty, with the streetlights behind the trees casting shadows in the air. The same way the sun does, when it shines behind clouds. But really not something I want to drive through at 3 am.
Class is going well. We're doing algebra which is boring and blueprint reading which is hard, since I skipped the first year. But it's pretty good. I have enough time to do my homework while I'm at work, at least on the days I'm doing gaskets. Which is cool, since they're paying me to do my homework. And they're paying for the classes. All I had to buy was the books. Which they refunded most of my money back to me, since they messed up the order. I really didn't need two hundred dollar handbooks or two calculators. I already have multiple calculators... I don't need any more.
Gas seems to have stabilized at $2.13. Which is good I guess. Much better than when it was $2.93! :-D But still, I much preferred it when it was $1.29.
I can't really wish my mom to come home soon, since she's over at my GM's taking care of her. But still... my father is a scarey person in the kitchen. And I'm getting tired of chipped ham and oatmeal.
