Heide makes good candy. Especially the grape.
Monday must have been the day of dangerous trucks. First going to work I came up behind one of those big trucks with six tires in the back... and it only had one mudflap.
"Where did the other flap go?" I thought.
Then I saw it was up in the wheelwell. "How in the world???"
Yikes! the inner tire was shredded and just hanging on by a thread.
I slowed waaay down and a police car pulled up and it turned off into a parking lot.
Then about a mile down the road a bucket truck, the kind that fixes telephone wires, was backing down the middle, turning lane, of the road.
For no reason.
There weren't any places to turn nearby and there weren't any wires nearby. This is a main fourlane highway. Crazy driver.
Then about a mile after that a pickup truck with a pipe rack, like for hanging ladders off of or something, had empty parts of boxes in the back, big boxes like for windows, and one of the edges fell off and came hurtling at me.
Fortunately I was at work and could just pull off into the parking lot.
I don't like it when Mondays are *that* exciting.
Also my GM died today. My cousin brought over really *REALLY* good chocolate pie. Like fudge... only better.
