Its interesting how quickly things in life change. Travis said to try and predict your life in a year. Write the date on a postcard and your prediction and see how close you were. Hell if I had done that 6 weeks ago I would have been really off. Six weeks ago I was still with Derrick. Now Im in New York and Pennsylvania with Travis. I never would have predicted that I'd meet someone this awesome in my own apartment complex walking my dog. Not to say that I dont think about derrick still because I do. When I told him I loved him I meant it and that doesnt just disappear overnight....unfortunately. However, I feel like I am becoming more myself again. Happy and enjoying life! I still get nervous about dating someone new so quickly but hey its good so far. Travis treats me like a princess and we have so much more in common! Not to mention you can tell just by talking to him how well educated he is. Oh and he doesnt smoke pot! lol well anyway we are going to go eat so Im heading off. Oh by the way I decided to go to grad school and am now registered for classes at EKU! Soon I will also be substitute teaching. Im not ready to give up my freedom of the summer lol but I am looking forward to things now:)
